The degree program described herein shall be called bachelor of Elementary  Education(BEEd)

 

Nature of the Field Study

The Bachelor of Education (BEEd) is an undergraduate teacher education program designed to equip learners with adequate and relevant learning competencies to teach in the elementary level.

 

Degree/ Program Goals

The BSEd major in Filipino program aims to develop highly motivated and competent teachers specializing in the content and pedagogy for Filipino language and literature teaching.

Program Learning Outcomes (2024 - 2025)

  1. Apply in-depth understanding of the diversity of learners in various learning areas through teaching demonstrations and crafting relevant assessment tools.
  2. Employ meaningful and comprehensive pedagogical content knowledge of the different learning areas.
  3. Utilize appropriate assessment and evaluation tools to measure learning outcomes.
  4. Demonstrate positive attributes of a model teacher in communication, higher order thinking skills, research and technology to enhance teaching and learning.
