| School of Engineering and Architecture | 2024-2025 | ARCHITECTURE - GREEN HOUSE PROJECT | Architecture (AR) Program has designed a weather-proof greenhouse to enhance the community鈥檚 agricultural practices. Since Sitio Malupa is dependent on farming, the vision behind the low-cost greenhouse project is to improve the efficiency and productivity of the local agriculture. The Architecture faculty prepared the architectural design, construction plans and cost estimates. The project is currently under construction, with varied SEA faculty members actively overseeing its progress. The General Engineering (GE) and Civil Engineering (CE) programs are closely monitoring its construction progress, which is parallel to their technical expertise. The community is involved in the construction of the greenhouse. SEA conducted multiple visits from July 25 - October 2024. |

The initiative, supported by the Angeles City Agriculture Office, provided free seedlings to Angelites, faculty, and staff. This project, which aligns with the shared goals of HAU-SVE and the Agriculture Office, aims to combat climate change, enhance biodiversity, and foster a healthier environment for future generations. The Angeles City Agriculture Office has been a consistent supporter of this initiative, reinforcing the university's commitment to sustainability. |

This initiative aimed to equip young students with the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure their safety within their communities and on the road. Mr. Calawa shared practical strategies on personal safety, recognizing suspicious activities, and emergency response, alongside the importance of adhering to traffic rules and practicing responsible road behavior. By fostering awareness in children at an early age, the program contributes to building safer, more sustainable communities. The interactive nature of the session, coupled with real-life scenarios and hands-on demonstrations, empowered the students to actively engage with the material and take proactive steps in safeguarding themselves and others. This effort reinforces CCJEF's commitment to community engagement, public safety, and the creation of sustainable, resilient communities. |

| Center for Kapampangan Studies | 2024-2025 | DONATION OF BP SETS TO AETA MIDWIVES | CKS partnered with the HAU School of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences (SNAMS) and the HAU Institute for Christian Formation and Social Integration (ICFSI) in donating sphygmomanometers to traditional birth attendants (village midwives) from Aeta communities in Bamban, Capas and Sapangbato. A training on the use of the kits was conducted by SNAMS faculty member Dr. Carlo Bryan Borrico. The outreach activity was a follow-up to an earlier on-campus donation of medical supplies and training on scientific birthing techniques to the same group pf Aeta midwives. |

The forum featured three prominent guest speakers:Mr. Rodney Galicha from Living Laudato Si鈥, who spoke on climate change.Mr. Tito Maglaqui from Alpha Solar, who discussed renewable energy.Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting of the Angeles City Government, who highlighted sustainable projects.In addition to the insightful talks, the forum included various sustainability-focused activities such as free seedling distribution, a Green Pledge Wall, and a Green Initiative Poster-Making competition, further promoting environmental awareness and engagement." |
