Office of International Affairs2024-2025SHORT-TERM FACULTY EXCHANGE PROGRAM"The Office of International Affairs deploys two faculty members to Guwahati, India, to participate in the short-term faculty exchange program.Dr. Janiel Joel Mendoza, program chair of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (SHTM), and Ms. Avigail Magbag, faculty of the School of Computing (SOC), arrived at Assam Down Town University, India, last March 9, 2025. The purpose of the program is to allow them to share their expertise with the students and faculty at the host university, as well as to immerse them in an international academic environment that fosters the exchange of best practices and cultural experiences. Dr. Mendoza and Ms. Magbag are scheduled to conduct lectures on Filipino Cuisine, In-flight Catering, Fine Dining Etiquette, Ethical Hacking, and Cybersecurity."

The on March 20, 2025, at the SJH Academic Hall, Prof. Zeena Marie Zambrano, Ms. Airis Roshane Gomez (Alumni Speaker), and Mr. Jervis Lumanlan (Resource Speaker), alongside the Psychology Society, led a marketing activity attended by 62 senior high school students. This improves access to education and builds institutional partnerships.

The event featured a quiz bee, dance contest, seminar, and a kite-making contest, all centered around the theme of “Burarul”, a concept rooted in Sikolohiyang Pilipino. The convention fostered academic engagement, cultural appreciation, and inter-university collaboration. College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics2024-2025SAN FERNANDO CITY BENCHMARKS WITH CCJEF ON HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATIONThe visit from the Legal Department of the City Hall of San Fernando, La Union to the College of Criminal Justice Education & Forensics (CCJEF) at Ƶ (HAU) focusing on collaboration and knowledge exchange. During the meeting, Dr. Niño Kabiling, Dean of CCJEF, shared HAU’s innovative approaches to human rights education (HRE), highlighting the university’s role as an accredited Center of Human Rights Education. He also discussed recent student achievements, including winning first place in the First National Peace and Justice Ideation and Pitch Competition, where they presented their "AdvocAID" prototype to solve human rights issues using AI. The visit also touched on HAU's support for the human rights centers in all 33 barangays of Angeles City. By collaborating with the City Hall's legal officers, CCJEF not only strengthened its ties with local government but also reaffirmed its commitment to building a Justice Zone and Human Rights City. This partnership underscores the importance of collective action in advancing human rights and justice, illustrating how academic institutions and local governments can unite to drive impactful change.

Center for Kapampangan Studies2024-2025DONATION OF BP SETS TO AETA MIDWIVESCKS partnered with the HAU School of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences (SNAMS) and the HAU Institute for Christian Formation and Social Integration (ICFSI) in donating sphygmomanometers to traditional birth attendants (village midwives) from Aeta communities in Bamban, Capas and Sapangbato. A training on the use of the kits was conducted by SNAMS faculty member Dr. Carlo Bryan Borrico. The outreach activity was a follow-up to an earlier on-campus donation of medical supplies and training on scientific birthing techniques to the same group pf Aeta midwives.
