| Office of International Affairs | 2022-2023 | HOW TO FOSTER A MORE INCLUSIVE SCHOOL CULTURE IN THE CAMPUS | The activity aimed to raise awareness on inclusive education, identify the issues affecting the students in the campus, and build tangible plan to address those issues. A total of 76 student leaders representing about 18 universities and colleges in the country participated in the inclusive education summit. The speakers explained the importance of inclusion and how can individual students, teachers and school administration help foster inclusion in the campus. Three persons, one PWD and two foreign nationals also shared their experiences in inclusion. Based on the evaluation form, the student participants reported that they learned a lot from the event which served as an eye opener for them to be respectful and to embrace everyone regardless of race, gender, disability, medical or other need. |

The speaker is PSupt. Jaime Rodrigo L. Leal, M.D (Ret.), who was a former medico-legal and Child Protection Specialist of the Philippine National Police – Crime Laboratory. He is currently a faculty of the School of Criminal Justice and Public Safety and the School of Law at the University of Baguio, a faculty of Saint Louis University School of Medicine, and an Instructor at Philippine Public Safety College. |

| College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics | 2024-2025 | PROTECTING LIVES, UPHOLDING RIGHTS: ADDRESSING VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN THROUGH THE LENS OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND ETHICS | The seminar "Protecting Lives, Upholding Rights: Addressing Violence Against Women and Their Children through the Lens of Human Rights and Ethics," organized by the College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics on January 21, 2025, addressing the critical issue of violence against women and children. Through insightful discussions led by Atty. John Angel Bautista on human rights and Atty. Mabelyn Palukpok on the legal protections available under the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act (RA 9262), the seminar highlighted the importance of upholding the rights of women and children and fostering gender equality. The event emphasized the role of education in raising awareness about legal remedies and ethical responsibilities, aiming to prevent gender-based violence and promote a more just, equitable society for all. |
