School of Engineering and Architecture2022-2023COMMUNITY EXTENSION PROJECT FOR THE AETAS IN SITIO PIDPIDThe Architecture Department celebrated the National Architecture Week through a community outreach project in Sitio Pidpid in Porac. Day 2 was dedicated to the UAPSA-HAU and architecture faculty members' community outreach activities. The team visited the Aeta Community of Sitio Pidpid in Porac, Pampanga. Students gave artwork lessons and donated art supplies to the children. A small Christmas celebration was also held to lift the neighborhood's spirits. The architectural faculty also visited the site to investigate possible future community projects.

Its primary objective is to educate individuals on the importance of protecting their personal and professional information against cyber threats and privacy breaches. Through a range of interactive and engaging learning modules, HAUisAware covers various topics such as password security, phishing scams, malware, social engineering, and data protection regulations. By promoting a culture of security awareness, HAUisAware aims to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to safeguard themselves and their organizations from potential cyber attacks.
School of Hospitality and Tourism Management2022-2023OPPORTUNITIES BEYOND THE WORLD: WEBINAR SERIESIn 2021 and 2022, SHTM held webinars that were given free and open to the public. The objective was to provide free access to quality education for the advancement of the hospitality and tourism industry, and to promote the welfare of those working in the industry. The webinars also invited guest speakers who shared their learning and occupational experiences during the pandemic. The webinars in the series were titled "Opportunities Beyond the World", "A Holistic Approach to Mental Health During the Pandemic", "Listen, Learn and Adapt", "The Promise of Philippine Tourism in the Better Normal", "Inter-Virtual: Acing Virtual Interviews in the New Normal", and the latest one was a social entrepreneur awareness titled, "A Delightful Pot of Kapangpangan's Love".
School of Computing2022-2023PARTNERSHIPS, SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT, PARTICIPATING IN CYBERKWENTUHAN ABOUT BULLYING, CYBERSEX, SOCIAL MEDIA ADDICTION, AND A LOT MORECyberguardians are individuals who take an active role in protecting their organizations and communities against cyber threats. They possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity and are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify and mitigate cyber risks. The rise of cybercrime in recent years has highlighted the critical need for cyberguardians to combat these threats. To address this issue, various initiatives have been established to promote cybersecurity awareness and provide training to individuals interested in becoming cyberguardians. One such initiative is the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) in the Philippines. The CICC is a government agency tasked with coordinating efforts to combat cybercrime in the country. It provides training programs for law enforcement personnel, prosecutors, and judges to enhance their understanding of cybercrime and improve their capacity to investigate and prosecute cybercriminals. Additionally, the CICC collaborates with private sector organizations to raise awareness of cyber threats and promote best practices in cybersecurity. Through initiatives like the CICC, individuals can become cyberguardians and contribute to the fight against cybercrime, ensuring a safer and more secure digital environment for all.

This demonstrates educational success and career advancement.

Then on March 20, 2025, the academic coaching sessions for the second semester took place at two locations: the STL Caseroom 1 for the Developmental Psychology course, taught by Prof. Christian Khiel Unto, attended by first-year students, and the Psychology Laboratory for the Industrial-Organizational Psychology course, taught by Ms. Chiqui Patio, attended by third-year students. This enhances learning and supports academic readiness.

Through the Institute for Advanced and Innovative Education (IAIE), SEA aims to establish itself as a leading force in workforce development, industry-aligned education, and the promotion of sustainable practices in engineering and technology. In response to the call for collaboration, SEA actively joined this initiative, reflecting its commitment to academic excellence, sustainability, and the preparation of students for the dynamic and ever-evolving job market. The recognition of SEA’s robust engineering programs by AMDEV underscores the quality of education it delivers. As part of this collaboration, SEA hosted the AMDEV team on September 17, 2024, and participated in the first official meeting on September 25, 2024.
School of Engineering and Architecture2024-2025SEA GREEN INITIATIVESSEA has a multitude of green initiatives spread across 9 programs and departments. The Architecture (AR) Program, through its Thesis Program, ensured that all architectural thesis projects proposed in their courses are aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The proposals were evaluated by the panelists based on how the design addresses environmental impact through energy-efficient design, use of sustainable materials, and innovative solutions. This also holds true for the Civil Engineering (CE) program. The CE projects were likewise aligned to the UN SDGs. However, CE focused more on sustainable infrastructure development. Their proposals were likewise evaluated based on how they are environmentally sound in terms of construction techniques and integrating renewable energy solutions into public infrastructure. Similarly, the Industrial Engineering (IE) students align their project feasibility studies with the UN SDGs. They evaluated business projects with a focus on sustainability, energy efficiency, and waste reduction.

By inviting Karlo F. Manaloto, a registered social worker, and PMSg. Rona DL Graganza, a law enforcement officer, to share their expertise, the seminar enriched students' knowledge, bridging the gap between theory and real-world application. Manaloto’s insights into youth delinquency, rehabilitation, and the legal protections for minors deepened students' understanding of juvenile justice, while Graganza’s session on conflict mediation and crisis management equipped them with critical skills in handling disputes and emergencies. This initiative reflects CCJEF’s commitment to providing quality education, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to become competent professionals who can effectively contribute to justice, equality, and social well-being.

This visit, designed to complement their Forensic Ballistics course, provided students with a detailed understanding of firearm manufacturing, handling, and ballistics analysis. During the tour, students were introduced to the production process, including the components, manufacturing techniques, safety protocols, and ballistics testing involved in firearm creation. This firsthand experience enriched their theoretical knowledge and reinforced the application of forensic ballistics in criminal investigations. The collaboration with Armscor Global Defense, Inc. underscores the importance of industry partnerships in fostering high-quality, hands-on education, ensuring that students are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in forensic science, law enforcement, and criminal justice careers.

Focused on Environmental Crimes and Legal Writing, the seminar aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of environmental law enforcement and the complexities of legal documentation, both crucial components of the Crime Detection and Investigation (CDI) curriculum. The event, led by Team Delta, featured expert guest speakers, including the Chief of the Surveillance and Intelligence Section from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Region III, who shared insights into environmental crime detection and enforcement strategies. Additionally, the Chief of Summary Dismissal Cases from the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Region III provided valuable lessons on legal writing, case documentation, and the importance of law enforcement in upholding justice. College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics2024-2025FORENSIC SCIENCE STUDENTS ENGAGE IN EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING AT PNP FORENSIC GROUPThird-year Forensic Science students from the College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics recently participated in a highly immersive experiential learning activity at the Philippine National Police Forensic Group (PNP-FG) in Camp BGEN Rafael T. Crame, Quezon City. This hands-on experience gave students the opportunity to explore the ten specialized divisions within the PNP-FG, such as the DNA Laboratory Division, Firearms Identification Division, Medico-Legal Division, and Scene of the Crime Operations Division, among others. As a critical operational support unit of the Philippine National Police, the PNP-FG provides scientific and technical assistance in criminal investigations, helping to evaluate and identify physical evidence gathered from crime scenes. During their visit, students observed advanced forensic tools and technologies, while gaining insights into the various roles each division plays in solving crimes. This educational experience was invaluable in strengthening students' theoretical knowledge, offering them a deeper understanding of the crucial role forensic science plays in criminal justice. It aligns with Quality Education by providing real-world applications of their coursework, motivating them to pursue careers in forensic science and justice with a renewed sense of purpose and professionalism.

School of Business and Accountancy2024-2025FRENTREPMAN BOOTCAMP WEBINAR SERIES AND CULMINATING ACTIVITYThe course, Entrepreneurial Management, headed by the Dr. Lutgarda Punay, and the other faculty members Dr. Amelynn B. Corpuz, Dr, Mark Sarical, and Prof. Eric Herrera, and KITO from HAU, collaborated to provide an intense bootcamp for students. A series of trainings were provided to the students to guide them in accomplishing their end goal: to come out with an innovative and sustainable product. An elevator pitch was scheduled for the students to present their products. The top 18 from the 6 sections were chosen for the next round of judging. Then, three groups came out victorious as the winners. First place was the Texcrete, hollow blocks made with used textile (FM-331 under Dr. Amelynn Corpuz); second place was the Solar Powered Cooler (BM-321 under Prof. John Eric Herrera), and the third place was the Budget Besties 2.0 (BM-331 under Dr. Maria Lutgarda Punay). A People’s Choice award was given to Beary Awake of MK-331 under Dr. Mark Sarical).
