Institute for Academic Innovations and Entrepreneurship2024-2025FOSTERING GREEN PRODUCTIVITY: A COMMUNITY SERVICE INITIATIVES FOR BUKO PIE AND COCO PRODUCTS MANUFACTURER IN ANGELES CITYTBI-KITTO and HAU Industrial Engineering Students visited the SME for their initial assessment to determine the scope of mentoring and green initiatives. The Consulting Team also stated to measure the current layout of the company as well as the ergonomic condition of the working environment
Institute for Academic Innovations and Entrepreneurship2024-2025FOSTERING GREEN PRODUCTIVITY: A COMMUNITY SERVICE INITIATIVES FOR FOOD PROVIDERS IN ANGELES CITYTBI-KITTO, along with the Industrial Engineering faculty and students, gathered initial information related to production operations, facilities, and green initiatives. This information will be used as the basis for recommending improvements.
School of Engineering and Architecture2024-2025GE RECYCLED POTS DONATIONThe General Engineering (GE) Program has also engaged the SEA freshmen students in creating specialized clay pots for agricultural use. These pots will be provided to the community, in their greenhouse, further supporting its farming activities and adding value to the overall initiative.
Office of Student Services and Affairs2024-2025COIN BANK PROJECTThe HAU-SVE (Scholar Volunteers for the Environment) launched a Coin Bank Project for Share-A-Meal Program this school year. These are recylced coin banks (Piknik cans) distributed across campus as part of SVE’s initiative to raise funds for the Share A Meal Program. Angelites are encouraged to give their spare change to help provide warm meals to those in need - because even the smallest contributions can create the biggest difference.
School of Business and Accountancy2024-2025SOLSTICE: SUSTAINABILITY FAIR (PROJMAN)The Sustainability Fair was held at the Student Center and saw participation from over 300 Project Management students. The event was honored by the presence of key figures, including Rev. Fr. Mark Torrecarrion, Dean of SBA Dr. Carmi Lao, HAU OIC President Mr. Leopoldo Jaime N. Valdes, and other distinguished guests and partners. In addition to the fair and bazaar activities, the event featured a "Junk to School Supplies" initiative and an exhibit hall, showcasing innovative sustainability projects and practices. The fair successfully promoted environmental consciousness and creative eco-friendly solutions among participants.
