Through expert discussions led by DENR officials on land management, forestry regulations, and wildlife conservation laws, the forum equipped Criminology students with the knowledge and awareness needed to uphold environmental justice. By fostering a sense of duty among future law enforcers to safeguard natural resources, the event directly supported the sustainable management of land-based ecosystems and reinforced the integration of environmental protection into the field of criminal justice.

Registration began at 5:00 AM at the Student Center on the HAU campus, where participants gathered before heading to the planting site. A total of 362 BSMA students, along with members of Soroptimist International, actively took part in this meaningful environmental initiative, contributing to the reforestation efforts and demonstrating their commitment to sustainability.

As part of this activity, students also submitted a one-minute video presentation explaining the importance of tree planting in combating change, while documenting the process of planting their tree. This hands-on experience aims to deepen students' understanding of how planting trees can help mitigate the effects of climate change, reduce heat, and contribute to environmental restoration.
