Students articulate the foundational principles through the group Green Theology Advocacy Project (GTAP), signifying their commitment to follow Jesus’ examples as they collaborate with the call of the kingdom. They implement the GTAP that addresses specific moral issues and concerns.
College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics2024-2025TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY AT ARAYAT NATIONAL PARKThe tree planting activity at Arayat National Park on October 4, 2024, led by the College of Criminal Justice Education and Forensics, actively contributing to reforestation efforts and environmental sustainability. By participating in the planting of saplings, students were not only engaging in hands-on environmental conservation but also gaining awareness of the critical role that criminologists and future leaders can play in addressing environmental issues, such as illegal logging, poaching, and pollution. This initiative underscored the intersection between crime and environmental degradation, highlighting how criminal justice professionals can advocate for stronger protections for the environment. The event reinforced the importance of community-based climate action, instilling in the students a sense of responsibility for safeguarding natural resources and promoting sustainable practices to combat climate change.
School of Business and Accountancy2024-2025FREENVMANSYS: POSTER MAKING (ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY AWARENESS)The students created approximately 50 unique poster designs, which they were required to display in various communities within and outside the university. These posters were placed around the HAU campus, including on bulletin boards, elevators, and in public spaces such as transport terminals, malls, and government offices.
School of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences2025-2026COMPLETED AND PUBLISHED RESEARCHBridging theory and practice: Disaster Nursing micro-credentialing (This study develops disaster nursing micro-credentialing to prepare nurses with specialized skills in responding to emergencies and climate-related health challenges. By bridging theory and practice, the program equips healthcare professionals to act effectively in disaster risk reduction, preparedness, and response. Strengthening nursing capacity for disaster management aligns with the global goal of taking urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts on health and communities.)
School of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences2025-2026DUGONG ALAY, DUGTONG BUHAY: A BLOODLETTING ACTIVITYDugong Alay, Dugtong Buhay was a bloodletting activity spearheaded by the °ÅÀÖÊÓÆµ PHISMETS in collaboration with Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital. The initiative successfully collected 199 bags of blood, demonstrating the commitment of student medical technologists to community service and saving lives. This activity not only supported hospital blood banks but also fostered volunteerism and social responsibility among future healthcare professionals.
